Actress Victoria Rowell Discusses Her Feminist Journey Through Hollywood
Actress and dancer Victoria Rowell, widely known for her role as Drucilla Winters on the popular daytime drama "The Young and the Restless," will discuss her journey through Hollywood as a Black feminist on Tuesday, April 17, at 6 p.m. in the NASA Science Center auditorium.
Dubbed "Hollywood's baddest, boldest and bravest feminist" by members of Spelman's Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance, Rowell will participate in a conversation hosted by FMLA president Jasmine Nethels, C'2014. During the conversation, Rowell will also discuss and sign copies of her new book, "The Women Who Raised Me." Her books will be available for sale for $15. A Q & A session will follow.
