Contact Us: Office of Communications

Spelman College is making local, national and global news! Spelman is one of the most highly respected liberal arts colleges in the United States, well known for academic achievement in three areas of distinction: prestigious top tier national institutions, historically Black colleges and universities, and women's colleges.

The Office of Communications works collaboratively with the campus community and the media to ensure “visibility of our achievements.” In our quarterly reports, we regularly garner more than 1 billion media impressions from local, national and international outlets such as CNN Headline News, The New York Times, EBONY, JET, ESSENCE, USA Today The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and more.
