Meet the Staff
Jennifer Wells China, Ph.D.
Director, Bonner Office of Community
Service and Student Development
Dr. China has worked in the field of leadership and student development for over 20 years. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Texas in Austin and a masters degree in business management from National University in Las Vegas, Nevada; and her undergraduate studies were completed at Bennett College in Greensboro, NC.
Dr. China has taught graduate courses on educational change, leadership, human resource management and business communications. She is a native of Sumter, South Carolina and enjoys writing poetry.
Elizabeth C. Rountree
Bonner Office Administrative Coordinator
Ms. Rountree manages all budgets and administrative operations of all service programs and initiatives for the Bonner Office of Community Service and Student Development. She was born and raised in Atlanta, GA but has also lived in West Lafayette, IN, and Dayton, OH. She holds a bachelor of science degree in psychology and human services from Clayton State University.
Ms. Rountree enjoys journaling, reading, watching movies, and spending time with her 12 year-old daughter.
Sheryl G. Belizaire
Coordinator, Bonner Scholars Program
Mrs. Belizaire manages and implements service projects and student development programming for the Bonner Scholars Program.
Hailing from Miami, Florida, and born in Brooklyn, New York, Mrs. Belizaire holds an undergraduate degree from Florida International University in public administration and a master of science degree in leadership from NOVA Southeastern University's H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship.
She spends her free time shopping, going to the spa and spending quality time with her husband and two children (Xavier - five years old and Alexander - three years old).
Britney Peyton
Community Service & Bonner Fellow
Ms. Peyton assists the BOCSSD with implementing community service projects and special events. She is also the campus coordinator for the UPS Community Scholars' Program.
Ms. Peyton is a native of Atlanta, GA and a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a bachelor of science in public relations and journalism.
In her spare time, Ms. Peyton enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family.
Kiesha M. Cooper
Bonner Program Assistant
Ms. Cooper assists in managing the Bonner database, implementing service projects and student development programming for the Bonner Scholars. She also serves as coordinator for the Shepherd Poverty Alliance Program.
Ms. Cooper is a native of Smyrna, Georgia. She holds an undergraduate degree in biology with a concentration on pre-medicine from Spelman College, C' 2009. While at Spelman, she was a Bonner Scholar.
She spends her free time shopping for shoes, going out with friends, traveling and spending time with her family.
