The Market Friday tradition is coordinated by the Spelman Student Government Association. The dates for Market Friday are published annually during the fall academic semester. The first Market Friday occurs on the Friday of the first full week of school.

The following are rules and guidelines for vendors and participants of Market Friday as sponsored by SSGA. Anyone not adhering to these rules may be banned from participating at Market Friday.
