News
Dr. Jackson's Research Students Accepted into Graduate Schools and Summer Research Enrichment Programs for 2008:Allyson Anderson (C'08)was accepted into Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health and the University of North Texas' School of Public Health. She will be attending Emory this Fall (2008) to pursue a Masters of Public Health degree. This summer she is participating in the IMHOTEP program at Morehouse College.
Alison Brown (C'07) was accepted into Emory University Rollins School of Public Health, Columbia University Teachers College, and Columbia University Institute of Human Nutrition. This upcoming Fall (2008), she will be attending Teachers College in pursuit of a Masters of Science degree in Nutrition Education.
Andraya Johnson (C'08) was accepted to the Schools of Pharmacy at the University of Tennessee (Memphis, TN), University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill, NC) and Mercer University (Atlanta, GA). In the Fall 2008, she will begin her Pharm.D. studies at the University of Tennessee at Memphis.
Brandy Sullivan (C'08) was accepted to Duke University School of Divinity Masters Program. She is currently attending University of Connecticut School of Medicene.
Brittany Alston will be conducting research at Wayne State University (Detroit, MI) as a participant in the Cancer Biology Research Program in Biomedical Sciences. She worked with Dr. Jackson's lab in the Fall (2008). She is currently attending Wayne State University, School of Medicene.
Diana Spell received the Merck Undergraduate Science Research Scholarship Award in which she will be conducting research this summer at the Merck research facility in Rahway, NJ. She will be returning to Dr. Jackson's lab during Fall 2008.
